He graduated from the Technical College and Stone Sculptures in Hořice in Podkrkonoší, Maestro School of Art Design in Prague and gained a Master's degree in ceramic design at the University of Purkyně in Usti nad Labem. He completed foreign study and international symposia in the Czech Republic and abroad. He designs porcelain under his own name and also the original porcelain brooch Mi brand, founded in the year 2004.
